- Housingnetworkri.org - This site connects you to many RI Community Development Corporations (CDCs). CDCs support communities in many ways and are a great resource to help you find housing.
- 2-1-1 - Dial 211 to access free and confidential help when you need it. One call gives you access to resources across your community, whether you need to get help - for you, for a family member or for a friend - or want to help. Someone at 2-1-1 will help connect you to the services or information you need.
- HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agencies - HUD sponsors housing counseling agencies throughout the country that can provide advice on buying a home, renting, defaults, foreclosures, and credit issues. Click here to select a list of agencies for RI.

Refugees
- Dorcas International - Provides client-centered services, advocacy and opportunities based on expertise in family literacy and adult education, employment services, refugee resettlement, translation, interpretation, U.S. citizenship, and immigration services.
- Women Refugee Care - Women’s Refugee Care is a non-profit organization providing services and support to refugee families from the Great Lakes Region of Africa (Congo, Burundi and Rwanda) - referred to as ECGLC - who reside in Rhode Island. WRC has a special focus on women, girls and promoting gender equality.
- Beautiful Day Rhode Island - Onramps to employment and economic self-sufficiency for refugees through business innovation. By aligning a need for job-training with consumer demand for socially conscious products.
Veterans
- RIServes - RIServes offers service members, veterans and their families access to a continuum of providers including veteran housing.
- US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) – Housing Assistance: VA Home Loans - VA helps service members, veterans, and eligible surviving spouses become homeowners. They provide a home loan guaranty benefit and other housing-related programs to help you buy, build, repair, retain, or adapt a home for your own personal occupancy.
- Operation Stand Down - Operation Stand Down Rhode Island (OSDRI) is dedicated to ending homelessness among veterans in our communities. Operation Stand Down Rhode Island provides rental assistance and supportive services through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families Grant.
- Veterans for Tomorrow - The goal is to provide affordable and supportive housing for various special populations including veterans. You must be referred by the local Veterans' Affairs Medical Center.
Fair Housing
- Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights - One of the oldest state agencies in the country that specializes in antidiscrimination law enforcement.
- SouthCoast Fair Housing - A nonprofit fair housing organization dedicated to eliminating housing discrimination, ensuring equal housing opportunities, and developing inclusive communities throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
